OnePlus has developed a lot in just few years. Last year, the OnePlus lauch of 6T and 6T pro were proved to be our two favourite smartphones of the year. This time OnePlus is deviating from its previous standards by launching two smartphones OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro at the same time instead of its previous trend of releasing one phone first and then an upgraded version of it towards the end of the year.
Screen and Design:
The OnePlus 7 has a 6.4’’(16.26 cm) Optic AMOLED screen at a resolution of 1080*2340 pixels with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The phone has an all screen display with almost negligible bezels on the side. The display is protected by Gorilla glass v6. The smartphone is 8.1mm slim and weighs 185 grams.
Processor and RAM:
As the previous OnePlus phones, OnePlus 7 is also a powerhouse of a smartphone. The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855 processor inclusive of Snapdragon X50 modem supporting 5G connectivity. The chipset is very high on power management and makes the phone faster. The processor is paired with 6GB of RAM.
The smartphone has two rear camera and and a waterdrop notch at the top of its screen. The dual primary camera setup has 48MP+5MP resolution lenses which can capture excellent pictures covering wider areas and has a front camera of 16MP. Other features of camera includes Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face Detection and Touch to focus.
OS and Battery:
OnePlus 7 is expected to run on Android 9(Pie) and possess a 3700 mAh Li-Po battery with dash fast charging support.
Storage, Connectivity and Sensors:
OnePlus 7 packs 128 GB fixed internal storage with no expandability. For the connectivity, 4G LTE and VoLTE and latest bluetooth v5.0 are available for connectivity. It comes with USB Type-C and does not support micro-USB. Sensors on the phone are rumoured to include accelerometer, light sensor, proximity sensor, compass and gyroscope.
Price and Launch:
The smartphone is expected to be priced at 38,990 INR and its expected in India is on May 14,2019.
